Dan has worked for a number of leading design consultancies over his 20 year career:

iLUKA/Centrescreen: 2016 / Senior Designer and Sound Designer/Music Composer
An immersive brand experience in Rio, Brazil

MET Studio: 2015-2016 / Senior Designer
Designed the ‘Ciudad’ gallery for the Museo de Ciencias Ambientales in Guadalajara, Mexico

Event Communications Ltd: 2008-2015 / Senior Designer
In his role as Senior Designer, Dan led the design team for a number of high profile projects, including:

2015: Meet Vincent Van Gogh, Amsterdam, The Netherlands – an upcoming global touring exhibition detailing the life and work of the prolific post impressionist painter

2014: The National Army Museum, London, UK – Redevelopment of the whole Museum, including five new exhibition galleries. Click here for more information

2013: St Fagans National History Museum, Cardiff, UK – Redevelopment of the entire Museum, including three new exhibition galleries

2010-2012: The Siemens Crystal – a 2000sqm multi-media rich visitor attraction about urban sustainability and the future of cities. Click here for more information

Dan was also part of the team which created the following projects:

2010: Titanic, Belfast – Designed the shipyard dark ride. Click here for more information

2009: Museum of the History of Polish Jews, Warsaw, Poland – Designed one of the key galleries which details the development of Jewish life and writing in the 17th Century

2008: Kuwait Oil Company, Kuwait City – Led the design team which created a large scale visitor attraction that traces oil from its origins to its potential future uses. Click here for more information

Event Communications and Real Studios Ltd: 2007

U-534: The U-Boat Story. Dan was part of the team that designed the visitor experience for this unique attraction in Liverpool

Prior to rejoining Event in January 2008, Dan helped with early design development of the Museum of the History of Polish Jews and the Titanic Belfast project

Ralph Appelbaum Associates: 2006
Dan was responsible for overseeing the delivery of the detail design phase of the Culloden Battlefield Memorial Project, near Inverness in Scotland

John Csaky Associates: 2003-2005
Dan was the lead designer for the Phase II extension of The Deep in Hull. The aquarium was adding a new gallery called The Twilight Zone about the creatures which live in the very deep oceans. Dan undertook the Scheme, Detail, Production and site installation phases of the project. Click here for more information

Prior to this, he was part of the team which designed a dark ride at Khalifa Park, about the development of Abu Dhabi over the last 50 years, showing how it changed from desert to metropolis

Real Studios Ltd: 2001-2003
Worked on a new members art gallery for the Kennel Club in London, a temporary exhibition about the East India Company at the British Library, the redevelopment of the Grange Museum in Willesden, London and a temporary exhibition of the Jerwood Craft prize

Event Communications Ltd: 1998-2001

MAGNA Science Adventure Centre, Rotherham, UK
Part of the design team which created this ground-breaking science centre, which won the Stirling Prize and the Design Week award for best permanent exhibition. Click here for more information

Imperial War Museum-North, Manchester, UK
Working with Studio Daniel Libeskind, designed the audio-visual structures and show for the Big Picture immersive experience, comprising over 60 slide projectors and 30 loudspeakers. I also created a soundtrack to Weapons & War, one of the three shows which plays daily. Click here for more information
