Probably the most challenging project Dan has worked on, this was an 18-minute soundtrack for one of three ‘Big Picture’ immersive projection shows, designed to play over 30 linked speakers inside the cavernous and iconic Daniel Libeskind building. Peter Key was responsible for the system design, acoustics of the space and the site mix of all three shows. This required the creation of original music, sound effects and a serious amount of editing and sequencing, plus an epic site mixing session to programme the sound to move around the space (for Graham English & Co).
The clip below is from the ‘Biological Weapons’ section of the soundtrack. Water and squelching cat food were used to create some of the background noises.
